I am embarking on a transformation. I am sick of being a "chunky monkey". Those who know me know I have always carried some extra poundage (real woman have hips). I now have the opportunity to work with a personal trainer on a project for the next 4 months. I hope he turns me into a Rock Star. My goal is to get rid of this excess weight, tone up and strengthen my core. My body type will never allow me to be skinny, but I should be able to rock what I got :)
I hope to train with him at least 6 days a week and follow a healthy/strict meal plan. I am told I can consume between 1300-1450 calories (which will be challenging because girlfriend can eat!). I really don't have a problem eating healthy, I just have a problem with portion control!!
I will be posting pictures of my progress (please be kind and ignore the belly behind the curtain). If you are wondering...no I am not pregnant!
I know I have gained and lost the same 10 pounds over the last 10 years, but this is the last year I am doing that. Whatever I gain from this project, I hope sticks with me for a healthy lifetime lifestyle.
